The USS Independence is a monthly meeting chapter located in Colorado Springs, CO whose purpose is to have fun in a futuristic setting, enjoying socializing with like minded individuals and sharing a mutual enjoyment of Star Trek and science fiction in all forms in a family friendly atmosphere.

Chapters of Starfleet (such as the USS Independence) are organized  around the organizational structure of a starship. Our chapter president’s title is ‘Captain’, and our Vice President is the ‘Executive Officer’ or ‘XO’.
